My thesis is a story about my experiences with pain. It's a little more serious than some of my other works, but it's an important story for me to tell. As someone who struggles with chronic pain I do not get to ever fully rest, and when I am in horrible pain imagining doing something violent to the part of me which hurts can help. This may be concerning for people who do not experience pain the same way, but I've found for me, and many others who suffer similarly, this imagery can be cathartic and even reduce the pain. This short is about what it's like to try and relax while part of you is still aching.
