Artist Profile
Hello, my name is Annelise Zahn (name change pending). I am a Colorado native, but currently reside in Portland OR with my wonderful husband and our two dogs Dozo & Ginger. Animation is my passion because I love storytelling. Telling stories through animation there are no limits to what is and isn’t possible, it’s one of the most creative mediums in existence. I love that every decision in our movement and timing can change how the story feels. My personal artistic goal is to create things that can make people laugh. Comedy and stupidity are truly the highest forms of art.
I am a RMCAD graduate with a BFA specializing in 2D animation. My best talents can be found in Character Animation, Character Design, Storyboarding, Video Editing, and Illustration. I have a well-rounded set of artistic skills, learn quickly, and love working in a group environment. Though I majored in 2D, I have basic knowledge of 3D design and animation and can easily transform a 2D image into a 3D product. My program proficiencies are in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, Storyboard Pro, Maya, and Mudbox.
